I always knew I wanted to create something that brought people together, just like music.
As a Puerto Rican-Cuban artist, food and music were the soundtrack of my life. Both carry culture, tell stories, and pass down traditions.
We always say “we’re cooking” in the studio. This time, we really did.

Growing up Puerto Rican and Cuban, the kitchen was the heart of everything. Recipes passed down from Abuelas, family packed into a small space and the smell of Sofrito in the air.
We spotted a unique opportunity to bring bolder and cleaner Puerto Rican flavors and culture to the sauce aisle and beyond.

LA EQUIS is no stranger to breaking new ground, his music has racked up 55+ million streams, thousands of fans, landed placements with Marvel, MLB The Show, and led to collaborations with brands like Papa John’s.
